Hasan Ali’s fiancé isn’t a cricket fan

The rumours about Hasan Ali getting married to an Indian national have come to be true. The Pakistan fast bowler has come out and revealed that he will be tying the knot on the August 20 in Dubai. Last week he had admitted that nothing is fixed yet as the families were yet to meet. However, a couple of days back, he confirmed the news of his wedding.

The 25-year-old Pakistan pacer’s fiance is a resident of New Delhi. Her name is Samia Azroo and she is a flight engineer who is associated with Emirates Airlines. Her job is based out of Dubai and that is where the duo met as well. They met a year ago and their friendship grew and they have now decided to get married.

However, Hasan Ali admitted that his fiance doesn’t know a lot about cricket and doesn’t like it either. But this isn’t the first time we’ve seen cricketers’ better halves not interested in the sport. There have been multiple instances where the spouses don’t know a lot about the sport. Hence, Hasan Ali wasn’t too fused about it.

“She knows nothing about cricket and does not like it. Her first favourite cricketer is Hasan Ali,” the 25-year-old cricket was quoted saying.

There were a lot of rumours going around Hasan Ali’s wedding and about the Indian girl he was with. However, he has come out and cleared the air. He made an official announcement about his wedding so that there are no speculations. Moreover, he revealed that the families wanted to keep it a private affair but that won’t be the case as it’s already out in the media.

“Our families wanted to keep this a low-key affair but since the matter has come out in the media I have decided to make an official announcement to ensure they are no speculations surrounding my marriage,” Hasan Ali was quoted saying in a news conference.

Moreover, he revealed that he will sport a black and red sherwani suit while Shamia Azroo will be dressed in Indian attire for the wedding.
