The sport of cricket since its inception has grown to become more than a sport. It has become a medium of entertainment for the common man. And, a large part of this has to be credited to the cameras and the people behind it, who make sure to bring the best of visuals to the screens of the people who are not able to be there at the ground to catch the action live. And, on Saturday, in one of the matches of the Pakistan Super League, a perfect example of this was put to display.
It happened during the match between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi. The match had to be reduced to a 12-over a side game, due to rain. The Lahore Qalandars lost the match, by a margin of sixteen runs, after they failed to chase a total of 132 runs set by the team from Peshawar. Peshawar Zalmi got two points and went to the fourth spot, while the Qalandars are still at the bottom. But, the disappointment of fans must have reduced quite a bit, after what they saw happening on the field, with Chris Lynn.
Chris Lynn’s head releases steam in a viral video
A shot of Chris Lynn that was taken by the excellent cameraman present on the field, became an internet sensation. It showed Lynn, who was pretty evidently angry over his team’s poor bowling performance, having steam rising from the top of his head. His team is currently placed at the bottom of the points table of the league and is yet to register a win in the tournament this season.
This might have been the cause of Lynn’s head getting steaming hot, literally. The steam rising from his head could be seen pretty clearly and the man behind the camera did a great job of capturing the rare scene.
It was really amusing and a rare sight for the fans to see on the cricket field. And, as a result of this, the clip started doing rounds on the internet, garnering a boatload of reactions from the fans, who could not hold themselves, from expressing their amusement on Twitter after seeing the clip.
