During the first Test match between England and India, some English fans were spotted wearing an earpiece. With the advancements in technology, we have witnessed certain changes in the sport. However, it is now even helping the supporters to get even closer to the game. These gadgets are expected to allow the audience to follow the game more closely.

These audio gadgets that a few fans were seen with are actually the miniaturized radio sets through which they can tune in to the local radio channel. Doing so enables them to listen to the live commentary of the match and follow the game more precisely. Though the signal strength and range of broadcast isn’t too strong it goes on to ensure that the viewers on the ground get an even clear insight of the ongoing match.

While the action between the two teams on the ground was unfolding, a few spectators wearing the gadgets had been spotted. Though some might have felt that it was to cut the unnecessary noise, it actually was assisting them to enjoy the match even better.

The first Test between England and India resulted in a draw

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated clash between England and India resulted in a draw as the rain did not allow play to be held on the final day. After wrapping up the hosts at 303 in their second innings, India appeared to be the favorites to win the first Test match at the Trent Bridge. India were to chase 157 runs on the final day and had nine wickets in hand. With the depth and belief in the battling line-up, the visitors would have backed themselves to cross the line. At the same time, England too would have trusted their bowling unit and aimed a victory. Both the teams however have a lot of positives to take from this match and they would be keen to look at those and move ahead.
