Without a doubt, Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best bowlers in the world at the moment across the three formats. He is a quick learner and extremely smart. Bumrah’s ability to adjust to different conditions with ease makes him so successful. Also, his bowling action is quite unique and proves really difficult for batsmen to read which makes it not easy to imitate at all.
This unprecedented action often gets the batsmen into trouble as the delivery comes out from a different angle. However, at the start of his career, many experts and coaches criticised the pacer of his action. They claimed that he’d hurt his knee if he bowls that way and wrote him off. Many even said that he won’t be a good fit for Test cricket. Yet, he persisted with the action and is now the leader of the bowling attack for India across formats.

This is obviously not the first time a young kid tried to imitate the Indian pacer’s bowling action. After his successful tour Down Under earlier this year, a young kid emulated the action in his backyard. Jasprit Bumrah even replied to this tweet and said that the kid was really cute. He asked the person who tweeted the video to convey his best wishes to the youngster.
The kid is so cute . Give him my best wishes 😊.
