The high concerns over the spread of the deadly Coronavirus have seen the shutdown of many countries. People have been advised to stay indoors. However, there have been some people who feel the situation is overestimated and that the government is being overcautious in shutting down the public utility areas.

A video surfaced recently on social media few Spring-breakers not feeling shy showing their discomfort over shutting down several public places. The holiday travellers found it disappointing that they couldn’t enjoy their vacation and hence were taking a chance against the virus. However, New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham did like it one bit and trolled them calling their action ‘stupid’.

CBS News shared a video of Spring breakers speaking quite ignorantly towards the deadly virus. One of them even suggested “If I get Corona, I get Corona. At the end of the day, I’m not going to let it stop me,”. This behaviour did not find Jimmy’s liking. He sent out a tweet slamming the irresponsible youth.

Be Stupid if you want, but try to keep quiet, says Jimmy Neesham

Jimmy humorously sent out a tweet saying, “It always amazes me how keen idiots are to voice their stupid opinions on a public medium. Like, be stupid if you want but surely try to keep it quiet.” He criticized these people first of all voicing out their irresponsible option on a public platform. Also, the fact that they were trying to spread the wrong message to society was another big mistake.

People have already found it difficult to stay indoors and deal with the isolation amid Coronavirus fears. More ignorant people on the streets giving out wrongful signals to the public can have serious concerns over the spread of the virus. Jimmy Neesham and more influential individuals have to voice out these incidents to slam them and ensure the right message is passed out to the public. He was right to criticize the incident and to condemn the actions of these careless individuals as stupid.
