Ravichandran Ashwin has hogged the spotlight for his conduct on the field in the match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Capitals (DC). During the 19th over of the Delhi Capitals’ (DC) innings, Ravichandran Ashwin attempted a second run after the ball hit Rishabh Pant’s arm and changed direction at the non-striker’s end.

Ashwin was dismissed off the first delivery of the 20th over, and words were exchanged between Morgan and Ashwin following the latter’s dismissal.

And, Australian cricket legend Shane Warne tore into Ashwin for his act. Adding that what Ashwin did was ‘disgraceful’, Warne opined that the cricketing world should not be divided on this topic and such an act should never be done on the cricket field.

The Aussie spin wizard even added that Eoin Morgan had all the rights to ‘nail’ Ashwin for his act. “The world shouldn’t be divided on this topic and Ashwin. It’s pretty simple – it’s disgraceful & should never happen. Why does Ashwin have to be that guy again? I think Eoin Morgan had every right to nail him !!!!,” tweeted Warne.

Delhi Capitals’ owner Parth Jindal reacts to Shane Warne’s comments

And now, the owner of the Delhi Capitals (DC) side, Parth Jindal has reacted to Warne’s comments on Twitter. Jindal tweeted that when the ball ricocheted off the bat of Ben Stokes in the 2019 World Cup final and helped England win the trophy, Morgan had no issues with it.

Jindal added that when Ashwin tries to do the same, the entire world goes crazy. Jindal even termed Morgan’s act as ‘hypocrisy’. Jindal also tweeted that he will extend his support to Ashwin regarding the matter.

“So when the ball ricochets off Ben Stokes for 4 additional runs which single handedly allows England to win the 50 over World Cup there are no issues? But when Ash takes an extra run the world goes crazy? Hypocrisy at its best – fully behind you,” tweeted Parth Jindal.
