Team India comprehensively won the second ODI of the three-match series against the Windies on Sunday. It was Virat Kohli’s authoritative century and Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s four-wicket haul which helped the Men in Blue take a 1-0 lead in the series. The series opener was washed out and Kohli’s video of dancing to the music in the stadium had gone viral.

After the match, in a witty interview to Yuzvendra Chahal on Chahal TV, he was asked about the same and Virat Kohli said that he believes in enjoying the moment. The 30-year-old doesn’t make much fuss of being the captain of the team and went on to say that he is in a great space in his life and loves to shake a leg, especially on Bhangra.

“I am enjoying myself on the field. Even if I am a captain I don’t believe in acting in a certain way. God has given me such a great life and opportunity to represent my team. I believe in enjoying the moment. I am in a good space in my life and that is why I shake a leg whenever there is music. Bhangra has always been special but if there is groovy music then the moves naturally because intentions are always good,” Kohli said.

I prepare for such tough days

The conditions at the Queen’s Park Oval were not easy by any means and even Virat Kohli stated the same admitting that he was drained out completely after crossing the 50-run mark but had to continue for the team. He also explained that he trains for such difficult conditions and is always prepared to contribute to the team.

“My mindset has always been to work hard for the team. Be it a crucial catch or a run out, I want to do it for the team. I think if you aren’t giving your 100 percent on the field then you are not doing justice to your place. I keep my lifestyle, training, diet and recovery in a way that I can contribute to the team’s cause,” Kohli added.
