Ganguly had also reacted when Yuvraj Singh had shared a picture of the Natwest 2002 series a few days ago. Many youngsters including Yuvraj and Harbhajan broke into the national side under Ganguly’s captaincy. It was ‘Dada’ who was credited for the evolution of a new-age Indian side, comprising players like Mohammad Kaif, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, and Harbhajan Singh.

At a time when the sporting scenario has been at a halt due to COVID-19 pandemic, Ganguly, the current BCCI president, had stated that the board is trying its best to host the tournament in the latter stage of the year.
