'I will stay at the crease till the end' - Sonu Sood responds to Shikhar Dhawan's 'big salute' tweet

Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, every individual’s life across the globe has been shuffled upside down. In the meantime, the government in India announced a nationwide lockdown that left migrant workers stuck at different places away from their families in these alarming conditions. Meanwhile, Sonu Sood, the Bollywood actor has emerged as a real hero in the country and he has been helping people impacted by the lockdown since it came into existence.

Sonu Sood is known as one of the renowned reel story villains in the Bollywood industry. He has worked along with some of the biggest names like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan etc. He has attracted lots of love on social media from his fans for his generous work in these tough times.

Shikhar Dhawan hails Sonu Sood for his heroics; the actor responds

On Monday, Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian opener acknowledged his heroics and praised him for whatever he is doing for the migrant workers. Dhawan took to his official Twitter handle and shared a tweet in which he wrote, “A big salute to you @SonuSood for your heroic efforts in making sure stranded migrant workers get to reach their homes.”

As soon as the Indian actor came across the tweet, he reverted with a heartwarming reply and thanked him for his wishes. The 46-year-old added that he will try to stay active and make sure that every migrant reaches his home safely. His reply read, “Thank u so much my brother. India knows when @SDhawan25 is at crease “WE ARE HOME”. I promise I will stay at this crease till the end and make sure that every migrant well say “WE ARE HOME.”

Sood recently introduced a helpline for the migrants stuck in any part of the country. He gave information about the same through his tweet. Earlier, in an interview, he revealed that they are distributing food and groceries every day to 45,000 people in slum areas, those stranded on the roads and those walking on the highways. Afterwards, he arranged the bus service in order to take every individual to their respective homes.
