Singapore, the hosts of the T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier have an ideal chance of sealing their position in top two of the tournament and seal their place in the 2020 T20 World Cup Qualifiers. Singapore made their T20I in the tournament opener with a 33-run win over Qatar. However, their game against Kuwait on the following day got abandoned. They will now face Malaysia on Friday and a win will more or less seal their spot in top two in the table.

Malaysia, on the other hand, registered a convincing 42-run win in their first match against Kuwait. However, Nepal got better of them on Wednesday in the rain-affected match. Malaysia posted 83/7 in the restricted 9 overs which Nepal chased down with an over to spare. This will be a do-or-die game for Malaysia as a loss here could see them ending up with a maximum of four points while Singapore will move ahead of all with five points.

Expert Advice:

There are quite a few all-rounders available for this game but the best of them will remain Syed Aziz and Janak Prakash. Singapore’s Chetan Suryawanshi is still included as wicket-keeper who in general is a batsman who can bowl. In the first game against Qatar, he did end up taking a wicket.

Probable Winners:

Singapore is expected to remain unbeaten with their 2nd win of the competition.
