Nepal and Kuwait will face off in a virtual knockout fixture in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Region Final for becoming the 2nd team to qualify for the T20 World Cup Qualifiers. The hosts Singapore sealed their berth having bagged five points from the three matches they played. Nepal has two in their kitty with one win and a defeat while Kuwait has three points from three matches as their game against Singapore got washed out.
Kuwait were not in the race until they defeated Qatar by 10 runs in a high-scoring game on Friday. A win over Nepal on Saturday will put an end to all permutations and combinations. Nepal, on the other hand, got stunned by Qatar in first match but bounced back against Malaysia. Nepal will have one leg into the Qualifiers if they win this. They would need to keep an eye on the NRR if they can’t beat Singapore later on Sunday.

All the high-scoring games in the tournament have been played in the morning. Twice the teams batting first posted 180+ out of three matches where rain didn’t have a say. Expert Advice:
Nepal skipper Paras Khadka didn’t take the field after batting in the game against Qatar. Nepal faced Malaysia on the very next day where Gyanendra Malla donned the captain’s hat. With three days gap since he suffered back pain, Khadka can be expected to take the field in his country’s all-important fixture.
Probable Winners:
Nepal is expected to register a comfortable win over Kuwait and knock them out.
