The ICC Women’s World T20 is all set to commence on Friday in the West Indies with India and New Zealand locking horns in the tournament opener. Cricket’s governing body is trying its best to make the Women’s cricket popular as the 50-over World Cup was a blockbuster event last year in England. In an attempt of the same, the ICC is foraying into the multi-lingual content to bring the fans across the world closer.
The ICC, on Wednesday, announced a series of digital firsts during the World T20. Hindi and Bengali content wil be displayed on its official website for the first time during the 10-team competition. The fans can also follow the action across ICC’s various digital platforms including the tournament official website (www.worldtwenty20.com), the ICC application. Interestingly, the Apple Watch devices will also provide the onfield action this time around.
