The Indian team look completely lost during the second of the five-match Test series against England and are lagging by 0-2 now. If the first game was one of the best in the recent times, the second was in complete contrast to it with the visitors succumbing effectively within two days. A total of 170 overs were bowled at Lord’s and no wonder Team India is being criticized from all the corners. However, the Facebook page of ICC has targeted the World No. 1 team and trolled them after the Lord’s drubbing.

The Lord’s Test ended on the fourth day itself despite the fact that the first day was washed out completely due to rain and only 35 overs of play was possible on the second day. The scores of 107 and 130 in the two innings is enough to justify the reason why the Test ended so early. Virat Kohli-led never arrived and England’s bowlers just ran away with the game with the conditions in their favour.

In another part of the world, Sri Lanka handed a massive 178-run defeat to South Africa in the fifth and final ODI of the series. Akila Dananjaya was the wrecker-in-chief for them as he returned with the figures of 6/29 and skittle the opposition for a meagre total of 121 runs while chasing 300.

ICC creates poll

Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Facebook page put out a poll for the fans and asked to pick a cover picture. One was of the Chris Woakes celebrating with his team after picking a wicket and other depicted the Sri Lankan team enjoying a fall of South African wicket. Soon after the poll was started, England took a hefty lead it seems which led to the ICC itself commenting on the page stating about the team.

However, the comment, in a way, trolled the Indian team for conceding 2-0 lead in the series. “England out to a strong early lead (just like they are against India!),” it read after which the fans from the other countries were left gushing over the same.
