The match starts at 2:00 PM local time (9:30 AM IST) (4:00 AM GMT)
India Women recently had a great Tri-series in which they reached the finals. But, the team failed to outclass Aussie Women. However, this is a new tournament and new beginning for them as they will look to prepare for the upcoming for the World Cup. And, their first warm-up game is scheduled to be played against their arch-rivals Pakistan Women.
Both the teams will look to win the practice match in order to gain some momentum to begin their stint in the mega-event. For India, all the eyes will be on Harmanpreet Kaur, who is currently going through a rough patch with the bat. She would be expected to click a breakthrough knock that will be a big positive for India Women. On the other hand, Pakistan Women will also come with the same approach in their first warm-up game ahead of the World Cup.
The weather forecast says that it will not be a perfect day for a cricket match with a high probability of rain on the match day. The wind is expected to blow at a rate of 13 to 18 km/hr whereas the temperature will deviate between 23 and 31 Degree Celsius throughout the day according to Accuweather.
The Allan Border Field is a perfect venue for batting as the recent WBBL witnessed three successful chases of 160+. The side chasing on this ground will have an edge in the game based on the trends of this ground. However, the side winning the toss might go against the odds and opt to bat first to prepare the team for the worse ahead of the World Cup games.
Average first innings score: 141 (WBBL 2019/20)
Record of chasing teams: Won – 7, Lost – 1
