Match Details:

The 4th match of the 2019 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier between Ireland Women and Namibia Women will be hosted by the Lochlands in Arbroath.

The match starts at 2:00 PM local time (1:00 PM GMT) (6:30 PM IST).

Preview:

Ireland Women are one of the two teams in this Qualifier tournament to have been part of the previous edition of the T20 World Cup. They would like to make it through this time as well and be on the flight to Australia. Going into the tournament, they are considered to be one of the top three teams. However, the form with which they are going into this Qualifier isn’t a pleasing one.

They managed to win only two matches during the Quadrangular tournament earlier this month. However, they missed some of their key players in that tournament. It could be one of the reasons for their failure. Their campaign begins against Namibia in the afternoon match in Arbroath. The Namibia Women have a good record in T20Is but will be interesting to see how they fare against higher-ranked teams.

Weather Condition/Report:

Compared to Forthill, the venue in Arbroath has no threat from rain. The forecast suggests a dry day with no chance of rain. However, there could be clouds during the day.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The Lochlands in Arbroath didn’t saw big scores during the warm-ups. Since this match is the 2nd game of the day, it could be played on a slow surface. Scores under 120 could be seen during this afternoon match.
