The aficionadi from either side of the border and from all across the globe would be praying that there shouldn’t be any rain in Manchester on Sunday. For, two of the biggest rivals in the history of the game, India and Pakistan will face each other in a much-awaited clash. With no bilateral series between both these countries in recent times, fans usually have to wait for a long time to witness this ‘Mother of all the clashes’.

Such has been the hype created in the last few days that the fans desperately want their respective team to win the game. Pakistan is yet to beat India in a 50-over World Cup game and will fancy their chances this time around. For such a critical encounter as this, it is important for you to pick the right Dream11 Fantasy team. While a team based on stats can help, things really get complex keeping the playing combinations and the player credits in mind. Thus, there could be one or two exceptions where you should rather back a player’s credentials instead of his numbers.

Here we bring you the Dream11 Fantasy team based on the stats of the players:

Wicket-keepers

Selecting the wicket-keepers for this Dream11 Fantasy team is the easiest task on hand. Out of the three options available, Sarfaraz Ahmed has got the best numbers in the last five ODI games. Thus, he will be the first-choice pick. After all the other picks for this team are made, you’ll still have credits left for MS Dhoni. While compared to some of the other players who come at 9 credits or lesser, the Indian wicket-keeper has got much better figures and is a surety to be in the playing eleven. Thus, he is quite a safe pick as well.

Batsmen

There are several players from this category who consume anywhere between 9 and 10.5 credits. Also, all their numbers are quite good. Thus, you’d be forced to leave one of the players out and in this case, it has got to be Imam-ul-Haq. This gives you the flexibility to have Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma as well as Babar Azam in your team. The latter two cricketers can be your captain and vice-captain respectively.

Since there are already three big picks here, there’s got to be an exception here. If Vijay Shankar plays, you can pick him but you’ll have to balance out the team elsewhere by picking a Pakistan player. The best choice you can possibly go ahead with is Asif Ali.

All Rounders

Picking the two all-rounders isn’t a tough task. Mohammad Hafeez has scored 205 runs and picked up 2 wickets in the last five ODI games. The other pick you can go ahead with is Hardik Pandya who has been getting opportunities to bat higher up the order. He has also picked up 4 wickets in as many outings.

Bowlers

Mohammad Amir has got the best numbers amongst all the bowlers from both the teams. While he is an obvious pick, the other two players you can choose are Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal. Both these bowlers have picked up 10 wickets each in their previous five ODI games and seem to be in good form. Both Bhuvi and Chahal are highly likely to feature in the playing eleven.
