0 – Number of wickets for Rashid Khan in this game. This is the first time in 15 ODI innings Rashid went wicketless. In 13 of the last 14 ODI innings, the leg-spinner took more than two wickets.
1 – Jason Holder scoring an unbeaten 99 and Shai Hope scoring 49* against PNG is the first ever instance of two players unbeaten in an ODI inning one-run short of their milestone. This is also the first instance of two players being unbeaten 1-run short of their personal milestones in an ODI.
1 – Hong Kong’s win against Afghanistan is their first ODI win against a full-member nation. This is also the 2nd win in International cricket against a full-member nation as they defeated Bangladesh in the WT20 2014 which was their maiden International win as well.
3 – Afghanistan lost their three consecutive games in this tournament – Scotland, Zimbabwe and Hong Kong. This is the first time that Afghanistan lost three consecutive ODI matches since the 2015 CWC.
5/26 – Rohan Mustafa’s bowling figures against the Netherlands. This is his 3rd 5-wicket haul in List A cricket for the United Arab Emirates. He became the first player to take three 5-fers for UAE in this format. Zahoor Khan and Nasir Aziz took two 5-wicket hauls in List A games for UAE.
99* – Jason Holder became the 14th player to be unbeaten on 99 in an ODI. He is the 3rd West Indies player after Richie Richardson and Ramnaresh Sarwan to score an unbeaten 99 in the format.
Shai Hope scored an unbeaten 49 off 115 deliveries in the same game. Had he completed his fifty in 115 balls and later, it would have been the slowest ODI fifty by a West Indies player in the 21st century.
143* – The 143-run stand between Jason Holder and Shai Hoper for the 5th wicket is the 3rd highest partnership for West Indies in an ODI run-chase for 5th and lower wicket.
