Rashid Khan is all set to extend his sensational limited-overs form into the Test arena as Afghanistan will make their debut against India on June 14. The historic game will be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. He recently played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and bamboozled many batsmen with his prowess. However, the franchise has now revealed one of the ways to take him down ahead of the Test match.

The 19-years-old is being touted as the biggest threat to the World number 1 Test side in the one-off game and the team is practising hard in the nets to tackle his wrist spin. Rashid wreaked havoc in the T20I series against Bangladesh coming into this encounter but many believe that it will be tough for him to replicate the same in Tests. It will be interesting to see the way he goes as the youngster has already cleared that he won’t change the style of his bowling in the longest format.

SRH’s hilarious revelation

The official Twitter account of the Sunrisers Hyderabad, on Wednesday, posted a hilarious GIF of Khaleel Ahmed taking down Rashid Khan into the swimming pool during the IPL. The players have so much fun during their stays in the hotel which is also necessary as the IPL is a long tournament and they tend to drain out due to the hectic schedules and he travels.

Moreover, the duo of Khaleel and Rashid share a special camaraderie after spending a lot of time together during the T20 extravaganza. Interestingly, the video of them involved in a hilarious banter had also gone viral on social media in which the Afghanistan spinner was seen giving him lessons about being punctual.

As far as the performance of the team is concerned, they were exceptional throughout the season and Rashid played a crucial role in their run to the final. Though it remains to be seen if he can spin his magic against the Indians in the upcoming Test match.
