After an action-packed IPL 2022, the focus now shifts back to international cricket as India get ready to host South Africa in a five-match T20I series starting June 9. The Indian team will be led by the limited-overs vice-captain KL Rahul as they begin their preparations for this year’s T20 World Cup in Australia.
As India field a bunch of youth and experience and eye a fourth straight series victory in the shortest format at home, it is to be noted that the crowd presence will be felt at all five venues since the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has allowed entry to the spectators for the upcoming series.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the event tickets are sold online in order to maintain a contactless practice. However, according to reports, the tickets for the upcoming India vs South Africa T20Is will be sold offline as well and a few of them could be reserved for stadium booking. If a fan wishes to buy stadium tickets, then he/she must visit the particular venue physically and purchase them.
Paytm is the official partner for tickets and they will be priced in the range of INR 600 with the maximum prices going up to as much as INR 6,000. The tickets can be bought online via the Paytm app, Paytm insider app, and the website www.insider.in according to the reports in The Hindu. The report further states that the online tickets will be made available from June 5 while the offline ones will be sold three days later i.e. from June 8. The matches will be played from June 9 to 19 at Delhi, Cuttack, Vizag, Rajkot, and Bengaluru.
