India A squad announced for Warm-up match against South Africa: Today, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the 12-man Indian A squad for the T20 Warm-up match against South Africa. The South African’s will be touring India for 72 days and the series will encompass 3 T20Is, 5 ODIs and 4 Test matches. The Mahatma Gandhi- Nelson Mandela series will commence from October 2. The T20 warm-up match is slated to be played at Palam on 29 September. In the squad batters like Mayank Agarwal, Manan Vohra, Mandeep Singh, Suryakumar Yadav are included. Sanju Samson will be the Wicket-keeper of the side with Rishi Dhawan and the star Mumbai Indian’s cricketer Hardik Pandya donning the role of all-rounder in the side.

The bowling attack will include Anureet Singh, Pawan Negi, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. The South African’s will look to improve their T20I record against the Indian’s on this tour. It is noteworthy that South Africa has never won a bilateral ODI series against India in their den. But this time with a good blend of experience and youth in their side, it seems that they will give India the fight to the hilt. The Warm-up match will provide them with a good opportunity of getting acclimatize to the weather as well as food as it is going to be a long tour for the visitors.

The World T20 2016 will be played in India, so keeping that thing in mind as well the visitors would look to start building up for the mega-event with this tour.
