The India-Pakistan teams are all set to clash with each other on October 24 in Dubai during their first game of the T20 World Cup. There has been enough buzz around the match due to obvious reasons and this is why various experts are chipping in with their opinions ahead of the high-profile clash. The new to join the bandwagon is Yog Guru Baba Ramdev.

Baba Ramdev was asked whether the match between India and Pakistan is fine keeping in mind the political tensions between the neighbouring nations, and he didn’t approve of it. He added that this match is against ‘Rasthradharma’ and stated that the game of cricket and terror cannot go hand in hand.

“I feel that the cricket match under such a situation is against ‘Rashtradharma ‘ and not in the interest of the nation. The game of cricket and the game of terror cannot be played at the same time,” said Baba Ramdev as quoted by India Today.

It is known to fans that India and Pakistan now only meet in ICC events and last played a bilateral series in 2013 and played last ICC event together during the 2019 WC. Now, it remains to be seen how the clash will go ahead amid all the buzz and certain political tensions. After gaining Independence, there has been a war between the two nations thrice.

Virat Kohli opens up ahead of Pakistan clash

Indian skipper, Virat Kohli also opened up ahead of the match and added that Pakistan are strong rivals and they will have to do their best to outsmart them in Dubai. He also opened up on certain factors related to India’s ace all-rounder Hardik Pandya.

“Pakistan are strong, you have to play your best cricket against them every time. They have players who are game-changers. We definitely have to bring our A-game against Pakistan.

“Well, I honestly feel that Hardik Pandya presently with his physical condition is getting better in terms of being prepared to bowl at least two overs for us at a certain stage in this tournament and we strongly believe we can make the most of the opportunity we have at our hand till the time he starts bowling. We have considered a couple of other options to chip in with overs so we are not bothered about that all,” Kohli added ahead of the India-Pakistan match.
