The 4th game of the 5-match Youth ODI series will be played between India Under-19s and Afghanistan Under-19s at the Ekana Cricket Stadium B ground, Lucknow.
The match starts at 9:00 AM local time (IST) (3:30 AM GMT)
The Afghanistan Under-19s team finally witnessed success on the tour of India as they won the 3rd game of the 5-match Youth ODI series to stay alive. India Under-19s did miss some of the big names for this match. The home team announced a whole different squad for the last three ODIs and Shubhang Hegde will be leading them from now on. India were bundled out for only 155 while batting first on Tuesday. The visitors struggled in the chase but eventually reached the target in 46.2 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Thus, they became the first team in 14 years to defeat India U19s while chasing a target on Indian soil.
The venue is forecasted to be under the clouds throughout the day. There are slight chances of rain in the afternoon.
This series has kept the trend of scores at the Ekana B ground going as all three matches witnessed totals below 200. Chasing sides have won a majority of the Under-19 matches hosted by this venue. With India missing some of the big names, we might not see big totals even if they bat first.
Average first innings score: 188 (Under-19s matches)
Record of chasing teams: Won – 7, Lost – 3
