India vs Australia, 2020: 3rd ODI – Statistical Preview

The 3-match ODI series between India and Australia is set for an exciting finish as the home team squared the series in Rajkot. Bangalore will be hosting the series decider on Sunday which is expected to continue the trend of big totals in the series. India will be extremely pleased with the returns of KL Rahul batting at No.5 which helped India to finish with a solid score. Their openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma suffered injuries during the game on Friday but are expected to be fit for the decider.

During the Rajkot ODI, the Zampa became the first spin bowler to dismiss Virat on five instances in ODIs. Zampa and West Indies’ Anthony Martin are the only spinners to dismiss Rohit three times in ODI cricket.

12.6 – Virat Kohli’s batting average of 12.6 in the ODI format in Bangalore is his lowest at any home venue. Kohli aggregated 63 runs in five innings at this venue with a highest score of 34. Bangalore and Chennai are the only venues where Kohli bagged more than one duck in ODIs at a venue.

Rohit scored 428 runs while batting first in four ODI series deciders at an average of 107 as he struck two big hundreds and a fifty including 209 against Australia.
