Although the first Test between India and the Windies in Rajkot did not produce much of excitement from the cricketing point of view, thanks to a one-sided domination by the hosts, there were other instances on the ground that grabbed the eyeballs. One of those moments was Indian captain Virat Kohli checking his abs by raising his whites.

Kohli, who will turn 30 next month, has been one of India’s sporting icons not only for his incessant hunger for runs but also because of his intense fitness. He is known for his hard fitness regime and strict diet and is inspired by the work ethic of Portuguese Football great Cristiano Ronaldo. The duo is often been referred to for the high standards they set in fitness.

He continued to excel as a batsman in this match too by notching up his 24th Test century and the 30th international ton as the captain. India won the Test by a record margin of an innings and 272 runs inside three days to take e 1-0 lead in the two-match series. The second Test begins in Hyderabad on October 12 and it will be followed by five ODIs and three T20Is.

Kohli also came to news in this Test after two supporters entered the ground during India’s batting and reached him to take selfies with the ace batsmen. The intruders were taken out of the ground but by then, the photos of them self-shooting with the Indian captain went viral.
