After some serious hammering in the first ODI, England will be eager to revive themselves and get back on level terms with India. The World Champions got thoroughly outplayed in every department, which saw Mithali Raj and company go 1-0 up in this crucial series.

Indian spinners did an outstanding job in the first game, giving no time to breathe for the visiting side. They managed to catch them in their stranglehold straight away in the run chase and never let the advantage slip. Ekta Bisht and Deepti Sharma’s impressive displays with the cherry in hand was the best take away for the hosts.

England though have some serious concerns in the batting department with only two of their batters scoring over 20 runs in the run chase. It’s not easy to adjust to Indian conditions, but for the defending World Champions, the fraternity expects a lot more than what they did in the first game.
