India’s emerging all-rounder Axar Patel has joined team Rario, the first cricket-based officially licensed player cards platform, and his finest moments from the world of cricket will be availed to the cricket fanatics at the Rario Marketplace. These player cards immortalize the cricketer’s historic accomplishments, giving fans the chance to assert exclusive ownership over their favorite memories of the player in a tangible, credible way.

Axar Patel is not the first Indian cricketer to associate with Rario. Some of the finest picks from the current and former set of players have partnered with the Rario to give the users an experience of a lifetime. Former India skipper Virender Sehwag, former pace king Zaheer Khan, wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, prominent Test batter, and a legend of the red-ball game Cheteshwar Pujara are all part of Rario.

The list does not end there! India’s rising star and young gun Ruturaj Gaikwad, Indian women’s team’s prolific opening partners Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma are associated with Rario too. India’s newest found ‘game finisher’ Dinesh Karthik, the stylish pacer Mohammed Siraj, the experienced pacer on the side Bhuvneshwar Kumar, IPL star Venkatesh Iyer, and Ishant Sharma are also among the other Indian cricketers on the list.

International sensations like Aaron Finch, Jason Holder, Rashid Khan, Shakib-al-Hasan, Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, and many others, alongside prominent boards like Cricket Australia, New Zealand Cricket- New Zealand Blackcaps and New Zealand Whiteferns, Australia Cricketers’ Association have joined hands with Rario. Even the top leagues like the Lanka Premier League, the Caribbean Premier League, the Big Bash League- Men’s and Women’s, the Abu Dhabi T10 league, and the Legends League Cricket have partnered with Rario.

Speaking of the latest entrant, Axar Patel is a bowling all-rounder with experience on both the domestic and international levels. In June 2014, he made his ODI debut for India, and a little more than a year later, he made his T20I debut. After much anticipation, the left-arm spinner made his Test debut in 2021 against vulnerable Englishmen on pitches that were conducive to spin.

Despite having claimed 39 wickets in six Tests, he is still a rookie in the format. With regard to his white ball game, that statement cannot be made. He has played 41 ODIs and 25 T20Is, taking 47 and 21 wickets in the formats respectively. His impressive run at the Indian Premier League has made him a regular in India’s squads recently.

Let us have a look at some of Patel’s finest achievements-

In his first international Test series, Axar bagged 27 wickets in total, at an average of 10.59, becoming the second-highest in the list of Indian bowlers, and joint third-highest overall.

Axar Patel achieved his fifth five-wicket haul in a Test match against New Zealand in the Kanpur Test, making him the joint second-fastest player to do so (4 Test Matches)

England’s history maker Joe Root was his maiden international Test wicket.

He picked up a five-wicket haul in England’s second innings, making him the ninth Indian bowler to do so on his Test debut.

Axar Patel recently broke MS Dhoni’s 17-year ODI record during a match against the West Indies. He hit five sixes in the game, which is now the most by an Indian batter batting at number seven or lower in a successful ODI run chase.

He ranks joint-third on the list of bowlers with the most wickets after the first three Test matches.
