Indians bash Pakistani fans who wished to see Virat Kohli in the PSL

Cricket is a game on the field, however, has been marred by controversies and other external factors. India and Pakistan have been involved in some severe altercations over the years. From on-field sledging to political tussle between the boards, the cricketing relationship between the Asian giants has worsened with the passage of time. The Indian Premier League and the Pakistan Super League have been significant tournaments in India and Pakistan respectively.

However, players from both nations don’t participate in each other’s domestic T20 league. The Pakistan players played in the inaugural season of the event, however, have been barred thus far from further participation. Nevertheless, the love and sanctity of the game haven’t died down among the fans as they have expressed their admiration for players from across the border.

Pakistan’s love for Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli has carved a reputation for being one of the most popular cricketers around the world. He is also a loved cricketer in Pakistan. Last year a diehard fan of Virat Kohli found himself behind the bars for hoisting the Indian tri-color flag in Punjab Province. Recently, a couple of Pakistani fans displayed a banner during a game between Quetta Gladiators and the Islamabad United. The banner showed their awe for the Indian skipper.

However, the placard didn’t seem to impress the Indians fans. They took to Twitter and trolled the Pakistanis.  Virat Kohli has been an entertainer with his swashbuckling style of play. He has been head and shoulders above his competitors as he has racked up runs at will in all formats of the game.

The cricketer has been going through a purple patch and is speculated to break several records in the future. The fact that the Delhi-born cricketer has fans from across the globe doesn’t spring a surprise.

When he can play in the original T20 league (IPL), why would he play in the copy-cat and failed league (PSL). Also, he is worth the entire PSL, your neck deep debt-ridden nation cannot afford it.
