Will Vayu Raghvan lead India against Pakistan?

As mentioned above, Vayu  Raghvan, who’s played by Tanuj Virwani, also made his intentions clear in the trailer. He was shown as a superb batter in the first two seasons, who was instrumental in Mumbai Mavericks’ stellar campaign in the Powerplay League. He was even handed Mumbai’s captaincy in the second season.

Now, Vayu has his eyes on the national team’s captaincy. Notably, Akshay Oberoi, whose character name isn’t revealed in the trailer, has been shown as the current Indian captain. He’s also very keen to continue in his leadership role. With Vayu aspiring to replace him, there’s a bad blood between the duo.

That was evident in the heated argument between the two which eventually led to a physical fight in the trailer. It has to be noted that India will host Pakistan in a Test series, as per the web series. Hence, it would be interesting to see whether Vayu becomes the skipper or not.
