Sunrisers Hyderabad won the first two games quite easily as they beat Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Lions comprehensively to get on top of the league. They beat RCB by 35 runs and batted magnificently to win by 9 wickets against the hapless Gujarat Lions.

However, they were brought down back on earth after their loss against Mumbai. Even after the boost of getting Mustafizur back, Sunrisers were beaten fair and square by Mumbai Indians. Sunrisers will however, look to fight back as they will lock horns with their trophy rivals in an afternoon game on Saturday.

Tacticians will be hard at work as both the teams are in superb form lately and have been busy demolishing the opposition. The lineups will be very interesting to see as Sunrisers don’t like to play a lot with their lineup they will look to inject confidence in their players after the last loss rather than making a lot of changes.

Even then, let’s look at the predicted eleven of Sunrisers Hyderabad for their game against Kolkata Knight Riders.

1. David Warner (C)

Warner being the captain and one of the best T20 players in the world will be the first name on the team sheet. The fact that he can take the game away from the opposition in a blink of an eye makes him even more dangerous.

This man has everything in his locker from glorious square cuts to those cheeky overhead scoops, this Australian can play all kinds of strokes. He will be extremely important to Sunrisers success against KKR tomorrow.

2. Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan is a fearless batter. He hardly shows any emotion and just strolls through his innings like he has nothing to do with the world outside. The man from Delhi is slowly but surely returning to his destructive best. All the Indian fans will be hoping for him to get back in form as the Champions Trophy is just around the corner.

However, his form is crucial to SRH as he and Warner can take the game to the opposition with ease. His sweet strokes through the cover are a joy to watch as his impact on the game is very important for SRH to do well against KKR.

3. Deepak Hooda

This 21-year-old boy from Baroda has a lot of talent but has not clicked for the Sunrisers yet. Coming from Rajasthan Royals into this team he is on the team sheet more often than not but its time for him to deliver now as his team will be hoping for him to do well.

A right-hand batter and a handy off-break bowler with some serious fielding skills are always welcomed in the IPL and Hooda is no different. Tom Moody has immense faith in this young man and he will surely be in the squad against KKR.

4. Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh is one of the first names on the team sheet without a doubt. He is one of those players who has experience, elegance, and aggression in his game. His aggression is purely shown through hit bat nowadays as he has been in superb form lately.

His 27 ball 62 run inning against RCB in the opening game of this season took his fans 10 years back when Yuvraj was at his scintillating best. This man is very important if they have to be the champions again and if they have to beat KKR tomorrow as well.

5. Moises Henriques

A fast bowling all-rounder is always handy and Henriques is a player who brings surety with the bat as well as with the ball, unlike Ben Cutting who is a hit out or get out kind of batter. Henriques also has experience behind him and has that x-factor in him.

He hits the right length more often than not and hits the right not with the bat as well. His inclusion will be nothing but tactical and so will be Ben Cutting’s exclusion.

6. Naman Ojha (WK)

Ojha has been around for a while and can bat anywhere in the batting lineup. He has opened the innings before and also has played at the number 6 or 7 as well. This flexibility of his and his superb skill as a wicket keeper are some of the reasons why Naman Ojha always sneaks into the lineup.

Those will be the same reasons why he will again make it to the lineup tomorrow barring all the previous performances.

7. Vijay Shankar

This 26-year-old Tamil Nadu captain came into light when he led TN to Vijay Hazare trophy and as well as the Deodhar trophy. A batting all-rounder with a knack of breaking some partnerships with his medium pace is always good to have.

He will be one of those Indian youngsters who is waiting for one big performance on the big stage and he will be itching to get out and get one tomorrow for his team.

8. Rashid Khan

This Afghan has been phenomenal for David Warner and SRH. He has been in superb form. His quick action and a hard-to-pick wrong one make it tough for the batter to hit him. He has picked up six wickets in the first three games and has already established himself in the IPL.

Just 18-year-old, this man has the caliber to become one of the best in the world. Rashid’s previous performances and his talent are enough for him to earn a place in the eleven.

9. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar

Kumar is the bearer of the purple cap and looks like he will have it for quite a lot of time if he picks up a few wickets tomorrow. Kumar has been massive for SRH even though his three for against the mighty Mumbai Indians went in vain.

Bhuvaneshwar who is also handy with the bat and that makes him even more valuable.

10. Mustafizur Rahman

Rahman just returned from his tour of Sri Lanka and before that had played little cricket because of injury. Their best bowler by far if we consider last year’s performances Mustafizur failed in his first game of the season.

That must have given him a reality check as he went wicket-less in their loss against Mumbai and also went for some runs as well. But that won’t keep him away as Moody and co are aware of his threat and so is the opposition.

11. Ashish Nehra

The veteran fast bowler might go for some runs but his wicket taking ability cannot be questioned. At the age of 38, Nehra is still going strong and plays a lot of cricket. With enough recovery time, Nehra has featured for SRH most of the times and has been good as well.

His experience is vital in an otherwise inexperienced bowling attack. One of the main reason he will be in the squad against KKR tomorrow.
