He didn't travel with the team as well.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have lost their last couple of games are set to face the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) for the second time on Tuesday. They would be looking to avoid a hat-trick of defeats at the Wankhede Stadium. But the team was copped with a severe blow as their ace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar was ruled out of the game due to the back injury. He didn’t travel with the team as well even as Hyderabad team is sweating over the fitness of Shikhar Dhawan.

SRH is suddenly facing a lot of injury issues this season as Yusuf Pathan was also seen struggling in the chase against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). While Williamson was confident at the toss in the last match that Dhawan would be fit for the next game but today he was only hopeful of his fitness as well. It remains to be seen if Ricky Bhui is given yet another go in case the left-hander fails to get fit in time.

Williamson confirms the news

“Bhuvi did not travel with the team and is not playing the next match. Shikhar we are hoping will be fine for tomorrow,” Kane Williamson was quoted as saying by Business Standard. He was also not sure about the fitness of Yusuf Pathan who regained form in the previous match and had almost won the game for Orange Army. “I am not 100 percent sure on how Yusuf is. I know he did have some cramps but hopefully, he will be ok and come tomorrow night,” he added.

Who will replace Bhuvi?

Interestingly, Bhuvi did not play the first leg of the game against Mumbai itself and now with a niggling back injury, has been advised rest. Sandeep Sharma is expected to replace him who did so well in his last game and had to, unfortunately, sit out as the gun bowler was fit.
