The Indian Premier League (IPL) got underway with a sizzling opening ceremony on Saturday as CSK and MI took the field in the first game of the tournament. All the cricket fans are rooting for their favourite teams as a lot of action will unfold over the next month and a half. England women cricketer Danielle Wyatt has been trending off late after her century with the bat in the T20I against India with Virat Kohli’s bat. However, amidst all the excitement of the IPL opening ceremony, she rooted for RCB as her favourite team on Twitter.

Everyone knows how much she loves the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and had proposed him on the social media. Even he had gifted his bat to her during India’s tour to England way back in 2014. She smashed the India Women bowlers with the same bat in the recently concluded T20I tri-series and scored a brilliant ton to help her team gun down the highest total in Women’s cricket.

Fairytale love story?

Danielle Wyatt is currently in India featuring in the ongoing three-match ODI series and is looking in great form with the bat in hand. Even her teammates troll her by the name of Virat Kohli at times with the fans leaving no chance to set the Twitter on fire. Recently, she is such a huge fan girl of Kohli that she had expressed her excitement after she was included in the same team of ‘Matt Floyd’s team of the week’ which was led by Kohli himself.

On Saturday, as the tournament got underway, Wyatt took to Twitter and cleared that she will be supporting Royal Challengers Bangalore which is no surprise by any means. “RCB RCB RCB,” she tweeted as the world was getting ready to witness the first game between CSK and MI.
