IPL 2018: Kolkata Knight Riders hold 8-4 edge over Sunrisers

After the shock defeat against Chennai Super Kings, former Champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will be eager to set the records straight against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their third match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. SRH, on the other hand, won their first game against Rajasthan Royals and would be looking to consolidate on that.

SRH will also be eager for a revenge as their run as the title defenders in 2017 was ended by the same KKR in the eliminator. However, that itself was a revenge for the KKR who was knocked out by SRH in the eliminator en route their only title win.

Since the Hyderabad-based franchise made their debut in 2013, KKR and SRH have met 12 times so far with KKR winning 8 and SRH 4.

Here is a look at the brief results of KKR vs SRH matches in the IPL:

2013:

Game 1: KKR won by 48 runs at Eden Gardens, Kolkata
