IPL 2018: List of England players and their base price for the auction

With the Supergiants not in IPL anymore, Stokes is all set to get the big bucks in the IPL. Currently, one of the best allrounders in world cricket, the Englishman is surely going to be one of the most expensive overseas players.

Joe Root: Yes, England’s Test Skipper and the best batsman has thrown his hat in the IPL. He played some spectacular knocks the last time England visited India for the T20 World Cup. Though he is not a power-hitter, his ability to find the middle of the bat most of the times makes him a huge prospect for the IPL. Root has set a base price of 150 lakhs and will surely be in the books of a few franchises.

Players like Jason Roy, Alex Hales and Chris Wakes can be handy in the shortest format of the game. These players have redefined the England team that has had a new look since the 2015 World Cup.
