IPL 2018: Malavika Mohanan spotted at KKR vs SRH match

The last thing that you wanna do is to disturb a cricket fan at 8 p.m in the month of April and May. The Indian Premier League is more like a festival than a cricket tournament. People from all over the world including top business tycoons and film starts to visit India to watch some exciting and nerve-wracking cricket.

Bollywood stars like Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta own a stake in their respective franchises and thus are common sights around the stadium. Along with that, there are a couple of Bollywood stars who come to cheer for their teams. Malavika Mohannan along with filmmaker Majid Majidi were among the many spectators at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens for KKR vs SRH match. The Sunrisers got the better of Knight Riders in a low scoring match with five wickets to spare.

Promoting “Beyond the Clouds”

The Iranian director and the actress were in the city to promote their latest film ‘Beyond the Clouds’, also starring Ishaan Khatter in the lead. The director is known for world cinema classics like ‘The Song of Sparrows’, ‘Baran’, ‘The Color of Paradise’ and ‘Children of Heaven’. The movie “Beyond the Clouds” will release worldwide on the 20th of April.

Malavika Mohanan appears in Malayalam films and made her debut in the Malayalam film industry with Pattam Pole. She has also acted in several advertisements including Hero Honda in Hindi.

The presence of such stars adds to the glamour around the stadium. The buzz and excitement double up when these starts grace the matches with their presence. It results in more number of people visiting the stadium hoping to get a chance to meet them. The IPL has just started and we are still a long way to go into the business end of the tournament. Things have started to heat up slowly as franchises have more or less figured out their winning combinations.
