The Sunrisers Hyderabad returned to winning ways with a big 31-run win while defending a low score of 118 against the defending champions Mumbai Indians. On an unlike Wankhede track, MI restricted SRH to 118 after electing bowl first. Despite the absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Billy Stanlake, Sunrisers came out strong to defend a low score. Surya Kumar Yadav and Krunal Pandya looked set to chase down the target before the home side lost six wickets for 14 runs as they were bowled out for 87 runs.

1 – This was Sunrisers Hyderabad’s first win at the Wankhede in the IPL. The Mumbai Indians defeated SRH three times at this venue before this game.
