IPL 2018: Match 25, SRH vs KXIP - Weather Forecast

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will meet for the second time this season in the 25th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Both the teams are in sensational form and are being tipped as the favourites to qualify for the playoffs already. They would love to continue in the same vein now when they will lock horns at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. However, the weather in Hyderabad has to be clear for the blockbuster clash to happen.

Kane Williamson was at his best while leading his team against Mumbai Indians when they bossed the game while defending the lowest total of the season so far. It was an impeccable performance from them and would be itching to play the same way in front of their home crowd. Punjab as well is being led by the ‘unpredictable’ R Ashwin and even they are also coming off an impressive win after defending 143 against Delhi Daredevils in their own den. Chris Gayle is also expected to play in this game who should be fit after missing the last one.

Will it rain?

According to Accu Weather, it is currently hazy in Hyderabad and it will be the same way throughout the day. The temperatures are hovering around 36 Degree Celsius but the real feel is like 41 Degrees which means its extremely hot. There are not even grim chances of rain but the atmosphere will become a little cooler later in the evening which should make the players feel better during the course of the game. Dew will also play its part and the team bowling second will have to deal with it big time.

Overall Verdict: Hyderabad crowd has been excellent so far as almost all the games have been sold out and no wonder it will be buzzing ahead of this game as well. With the rain gods also eager to watch the Gayle storm they are happy to step aside.
