IPL 2018: Match 7, SRH vs MI - Weather Forecast

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will lock horns for the first time in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday. The match will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad as the home side would look to continue in the same momentum. While their opposition is in search of their first victory after a shock loss to Chennai Super Kings in the tournament opener. However, with rain playing a huge role in last game, will it stay away in Hyderabad?

Though they are missing David Warner in their ranks, SRH had a perfect outing against Rajasthan Royals. Their new skipper led well and used his resources nicely in order to register an easy win. Rohit Sharma and his men are under pressure once again now after losing their first match of the tournament for the sixth consecutive time and it would be imperative for them to get off the mark soon.

But there are chances of thunderstorms around 2 PM which might affect the conditions in the lead up to the game. Fans have to pray that it should be a passing shower as the weather is set to remain cloudy throughout the duration of the game.

Though there are no chances of rain during the match, the heavens can open up anytime much like they did in Jaipur last night. Both the teams would be aware of the same now and Duckworth Lewis might come into play today as well.

Overall Verdict: Rain continues to follow the teams with thunderstorms set to keep the groundsmen at bay ahead of the game. It might be a long day in store for everyone if the rain plays hide and seek much like it did in the last match.
