Nitish Rana hogged the limelight in the last season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) while playing for Mumbai Indians (MI). After starting the season with a bang but faded later unfortunately only to be dropped. This time around, he was bagged by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the auction and is delivering the goods for them consistently. However, amidst the busy schedule of the IPL, the stylish left-hander has joined the ‘Break the Beard’ challenge and has sported a funky new look.

Rana has been brilliant for KKR this season and has carried the responsibility of the middle-order on his shoulders by scoring 240 runs in 10 innings so far. The strike-rate of close to 130 is decent as he has smashed 10 sixes as well to go with 21 fours. The team is in a flux currently after their whopping loss in their recent game against Mumbai Indians (MI) and he will be itching to hit the straps for the upcoming must-win games for his team.

Rana takes up the challenge

KKR are set to play their next match against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in Indore even as Nitish Rana has found time to sport a new look. He posted the video on Instagram to give an insight of his style to his fans and followers. He captioned the video with a message which read, “New dab king in town! What say @paulpogba? That crucial part of the season, time to take it to a new level.”

Rana is not the first player to do it this season as the trend has been set by the top Indian cricketers before him. While it was the duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Shikhar Dhawan to start things off, Suresh Raina also recently changed his look only for the fans to keep gushing on the same.
