IPL 2018: Rashid Khan's relatives relish his success in the tournament

He is one of the highest wicket-takers this season with 13 scalps after 10 matches.

Rashid Khan has been the revelation once again in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Despite playing in the T20 leagues all over the world, his bowling continues to remain a mystery for the opponents. More the youngster has performed in all the conditions and troubled some of the best batsmen in the business. He was the first player from Afghanistan to be picked in IPL auction and since then has ruled the tournament. However, his fans and relatives enjoy his heroic performances a lot and celebrate his every success in the IPL.

Following his exploits with the ball in the last season, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise decided to use Right to Match (RTM) card for him and retained his services this year in the auction. He was bought by them for a whopping amount of Rs 9 Crore and the leggie hasn’t disappointed them. Though the teams are concentrated him on playing out his four overs, Rashid has been extremely wily and economical this year.

While Rashid Khan has been climbing the ladder of success continuously, his fans and relatives back home in Afghanistan are relishing it. He himself informed in his latest Instagram story on Tuesday in which it could be seen that his nephews are seen dancing after Rashid sends the ball into the stands. Interestingly, he has shone with the bat as well this year smacking the ball coming down the order with only a few deliveries left.

As far as his bowling is concerned, he has picked 13 wickets in 10 matches and has conceded runs only at an economy of 7.15. His country mate Mohammad Nabi is also the part of SRH team but has featured only in a couple of games this season. Though he was also a crucial part of their team last year and had played the maximum number of matches for them.
