Majorly everytime MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh were mentioned together in the news, it was some controversy or another. For instance, Yograj Singh slammed Dhoni after his won was dropped from the team. However, there has been nothing on the field that has to lead us to believe that there is something wrong between the two.
In the ongoing match between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab, Yuvraj showed that the reality is far from what is shown in the news. MS Dhoni had been struggling with a problem in his lower back during the match and was lying on the ground seeking medical assistance from the physiotherapist. The former India skipper was receiving a massage from the therapist when Yuvraj walked in and playfully pressed his head.

While a Vintage Yuvi show is due, we saw Vintage Dhoni against KXIP. Despite the lower back issue, his clean-hitting show after a watchful inning showed that an injured Dhoni almost got CSK over the line.
In fact, in the post-match presentation, Dhoni said, “I don’t know how bad my back is but it should be okay. God has given me enough power so I don’t have to rely on my back a lot. It shouldn’t be so bad. I am used to playing with the injuries. You have to be tough.” So strong was his power that he was seen hitting a one-handed six against Andrew Tye in the penultimate over.
In his 44-ball-79, he struck six fours and five sixes which are a testament to his power. MS Dhoni, in spite of battling a back injury, recorded his highest ever T20 score. Eventually, CSK fell 4 runs short of the target and Mohit Sharma was able to defend 17 runs in the last over. Yuvraj Singh, yesterday, looked like he was on to something but was dismissed by Shardul Thakur on 20.
