In the game against KKR, RCB posted a massive total on the board. It seemed as if things were under control. Mohammed Siraj was assigned the duty of bowling two out of the last three overs in the match. With Andre Russell in the middle, the RCB camp was still under pressure. But Siraj started off brilliantly with two good deliveries and put the pressure on the batsman.

However, he then ended up bowling a dangerous beamer. It hit Russell’s bat near the maker’s name. Such shots hardly go past the 30-yard circle. But such is the power of the Jamaican that it carried all the way into the crowd. The cameraman was also stunned with this shot and couldn’t even figure out where the ball was headed.

He clearly thought the catch would be taken and focussed inside the playing arena but the ball cleared the fence with ease. It still remains to be a shocker as to how Russell did that. Siraj was taken out of the attack after this delivery.
