T20 World Cup 2024 Points Table

The T20 World Cup is looming on the horizon, and the 20 participating teams will look to put in their best performances and hope to get their hands on the prestigious title. The 29-day tournament will be co-hosted by the USA and the West Indies, and it is worth noting that 10 of the 20 teams will play their first match in the USA.

41 matches will be played in the Caribbean across six different islands, and the marquee event is slated to begin on June 1, with the summit clash slated to be held on June 29 in Barbados.

The 20 participating teams will be divided into groups of five, with the top two teams from each group proceeding to the Super Eight phase of the tournament, where the teams will be split into two groups of four teams each. 

The top two teams in their respective groups will make it to the semi-finals, where they will face off for a place in the summit clash. England will be coming into the tournament as the defending champions and the side will be keen on defending their title after a horrid run in the 50-over World Cup.
