IPL 2019: Cheeku Bhaiya, I am coming, Jasprit Bumrah issues warning to Virat Kohli

Even as Team India is gearing up for the series against Australia which commences on Sunday, the fans are eagerly waiting for the Indian Premier League (IPL) to begin. The 12th edition of the tournament will get underway on March 23 and the official broadcaster Star Sports in leaving no stone unturned in the build-up to the league. After Rishabh Pant challenged MS Dhoni in the opening promo, Jasprit Bumrah has issued a warning to his India captain Virat Kohli.

The best thing about the IPL is the top players across the world face-off in almost every encounter. The quality of cricket is top-class which keeps the fans at the edge of their seats. No wonder, the IPL is touted as the best league in the world and it is a treat to watch the players lock horns against each other.

One such battle to look out for is between Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli. Both of them are best in their respective departments across the world and when Mumbai Indians (MI) will meet the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

Star Sports released the second promo of the upcoming season of the IPL and this time, it was Bumrah knocking the doors of his national team skipper. In the video, he looks determined to disturb the timber of Kohli and challenges to come on the field confidently.

“World ka best bowler? Nehi yaar. Abhi toh world ke best batsman ke dande udana baaki he. Aa rahahu Cheeku bhaiya aur iss baar, aap meri team mein bhi nahin rahenge. (World’s best bowler? Not yet. I still have to dismiss the best batsman in the world. Virat Kohli, I am coming, and this time I an not even part of your team),” he said.

Interestingly, these promos will have the responses from the cricketers as well. At the end of the promo, Kohli is shown as watching the TV and acts as if he is shocked after listening to Jasprit Bumrah. The same has happened in the opening promo where Rishabh Pant warns his idol MS Dhoni.
