The Indian Premier League 2019 is in its full flow and has seen some very interesting moments in the field and off it. The tournament is seeing the defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Dinesh Karthik-led Kolkata Knight Riders ruling the roost in the points table.
The 2016 IPL champions Sunrisers Hyderabad started off on a good note, but have suffered some big losses at the hands of Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians, against whom they were bowled out for under 100 runs for the first time in IPL history. SRH initially started with some dominating wins thanks to their opening combination of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow.
David Warner, who is returning to the Indian Premier League after a gap of one year, has hit his fourth century in the tournament history. He has been aided by England’s Jonny Bairstow, who also has scored a century in his debut season with SRH. The duo has added 100 runs for the first wicket in three straight matches.
David Warner and family explores Hyderabad
David Warner was not allowed to play IPL 2018 due to his ban levied for his involvement in the ball tampering scandal in March of 2018. Kane Williamson led SRH in his stead and took the team to the finals while earning the Orange Cap for most runs in the tournament with over 700 runs to his name.
This time around, Warner has returned to the team to prove a point and though he is no longer the captain of the team, despite Williamson missing from action, he has done the job with the bat so far and has been enjoying his time in the city with his family. Warner is traveling to India with his family, including wife and children.
