IPL 2019: Dinesh Karthik unveils Kolkata Knight Riders jersey for the season

The 12th season of Indian Premier League is upon us and it is going to begin on March 23, Saturday with defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on each other at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. All the teams are preparing for the new season of Indian Premier League by giving their teams a new look and new feel.

The 2019 IPL auctions saw many changes take place in the team combinations and we will get to see fresh faces play for different franchises in the IPL 2019. Also, another way to freshen up a franchise is to launch a new design of uniform for the new IPL season.

This leads to diehard fans getting to see their beloved franchises in new look uniforms and this also enables them to buy the new look jersey and sport it in the stadium while cheering for their teams during the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.

Kolkata Knight Rides launch new designed jersey

Two-time Indian Premier League champions Kolkata Knight Riders became the latest team to launch a new jersey with skipper Dinesh Karthik unveiling the new KKR look. While revealing the new design jersey, Karthik was seen saying in a video, “Hi guys, it is the KKR fans, including mine’s biggest treasure, the jersey. Like every year, it has a different style, different look, and a different feel to it. I really like the way the two-tone jersey works. It makes a massive difference to the way we are, the purple and gold all the way.”

Karthik urged the fans to buy the authentic jersey and hoped that every KKR fan will wear the jersey to cheer the team in the stadium. “I’m hoping everybody who is coming to the ground is wearing this and cheering for us. Looking forward to seeing you all this season,” Karthik said in the video.
