IPL 2019: Frustrated with his team’s poor performance, RCB fan dons CSK jersey at Chepauk
It was quite hilarious to watch the fan's actions and cheering for Chennai

The Indian Premier League kicked off with a one-sided contest between Chennai Super Kings and the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Chepauk stadium. The hosts won the toss as skipper MS Dhoni elected to bowl first on a dry track. Chennai decided to play with three specialist spinners alongside Kedhar Jadhav and Suresh Raina.
Bangalore put up a disappointing show in front of a full house that consisted of majorly CSK fans. Virat Kohli was dismissed cheaply as Harbhajan Singh reduced the top order into shambles. He even managed to outdo Moeen Ali after getting hit for a six. AB de Villiers ended up finding Ravindra Jadeja at deep midwicket as the Turbantor finished with splendid figures of 3/20.
The flurry of wickets didn’t stop as RCB kept throwing away wickets on a surface that required quite a bit of patience. Their most prized overseas pick in this year’s auction, Shimron Hetmyer was run out for a duck. None of the batsmen leaving Parthiv Patel managed to cross double figures.
The Bangalore side put up a poor show with the bat as they were all out for 70 runs. This wasn’t the first time that the strong batting side was bundled for a low total. They were infamously all out for a total of 49 runs chasing 132 in 2017. The franchise has often been known for throwing it all away. They have played 3 finals but never won the IPL yet.
Hence, the rigors of being an RCB fan is quite understandable. Frustrated by his team’s poor showing yesterday, a fan at Chepauk donned a Chennai jersey and started cheering for the Super Kings. It was quite hilarious to watch the fan’s actions. The same was uploaded by a CSK fan club on Twitter. The person can be seen wearing a CSK t-shirt over his RCB outfit.
