The Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings will face off for the second time in the space of one week this time at the Eden Gardens. The game played on Tuesday at Chepauk turned out to be a disaster for the KKR on a turning track. They would be hoping to avenge for the defeat at their home where they lost to Delhi Capitals on Friday. The CSK, on the other hand, won six of the seven matches in the tournament and are inching closer to sealing their playoff berth.

All the key stats and numbers ahead of the reverse fixture between KKR and CSK:

5 – The Chennai Super Kings lost their previous five IPL matches at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The Mumbai Indians have defeated CSK twice by defending a total while the Kolkata Knight Riders successfully chased down a target on the previous three meetings with CSK at home since losing the league fixture in 2013.

760Suresh Raina has the 2nd most runs in the IPL against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Only David Warner (762) has more runs in the IPL against KKR than Raina. The CSK No.3 scored 760 runs against KKR from 21 innings at an average of 42.22 by scoring seven fifties.

However, Raina scored only 239 runs from nine innings against the Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens at an average of 26.55 with help of three fifties.
