Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) placed themselves at 2nd and 3rd in the points table with five wins from eight matches. MI team have covered up all bases and have won four of their last five matches. They will now face the inform Delhi Capitals who won their previous three fixtures. MI’s recent record against Delhi franchise and their recent failures at the Feroz Shah Kotla is something that will concern the Rohit Sharma-led side.

629Shikhar Dhawan’s 629 runs in the IPL against the Mumbai Indians are the 4th most by any player against them. Dhawan scored those runs across 19 innings at an average of 41.93 with four fifties.


715 – Rohit Sharma is one of the two players to aggregate 700+ runs in the IPL against the Delhi Capitals/Daredevils. Virat Kohli (802) is the only other player to score over 700 IPL runs against the Delhi franchise. The MI skipper scored 715 runs against them in 24 innings at an average of 34.04 with four half-centuries.


974 – Rishabh Pant needs 26 more runs to become the 2nd player after Virender Sehwag (1,199) to score 1,000 T20 runs at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. The keeper-batsman aggregated 974 runs in 25 Twenty20 innings at this venue at an average of 42.34 and an S/R of 178.06 with two centuries and six fifties.


7988Rohit Sharma needs 12 more runs to become the 3rd Indian and the 8th player overall to aggregate 8,000 runs in the Twenty20 format.
