IPL 2019: Match 37, DC vs KXIP – Predicted top performer based on stats and records for Fantasy Cricket

The Delhi Capitals (DC) have had a decent outing in this edition’s Indian Premier League (IPL). They are placed third in the points table with five victories from nine matches. Their bowlers did a decent job and then their openers gave them a quick start. To their disappointment, the rest of the batting couldn’t provide any resistance and hence, wickets started going down like ninepins.

Nevertheless, all’s not lost for the Delhi team as it next faces the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at home itself. Coincidentally, Punjab are locked with Delhi on five victories from nine games. In fact, on a head-to-head count in Delhi, both teams are level on five wins each and the game is expected to be an absolute cracker.

Iyer and Co wouldn’t want to lose back-to-back encounters on their home ground. However, the hosts would need to be wary of one player in the opponent, who has the potential to turn games on its head single-handedly and that’s none other than Chris Gayle, who has an excellent record against Delhi.
