Kieron Pollard is one of the biggest West Indian stars to grace the Indian Premier League 2019 and has been with the Mumbai Indians franchise since 2010. Pollard has redefined the art of hitting down the order both for MI and the West Indies. He has featured in 101 ODI matches for West Indies scoring 2289 runs with three centuries and nine half-centuries to his name and has taken 50 catches as well.
Kieron Pollard has had a full-filling IPL career with 2655 runs in 138 matches with a best of 83 and 14 fifties to his name with a strike rate of 148. He has also picked up 56 wickets with a best of 4/44 and economy of 8.85. He has been part of all three of the Mumbai Indians’ IPL title wins in 2013, 2015 and 2017.
Kieron Pollard’s biggest fan joins him in Mumbai for match against KXIP
Kieron Pollard is a known family man and has a daughter and a son, Kaiden with wife Jenna. He often posts pictures with his family in Indian outfits on Indian festivals on his Instagram account and has professed his love for India. In the ongoing IPL, Pollard has scored 179 runs with a best of 83 at a strike rate of 194.58. Overall in IPL, Pollard has hit 174 sixes and 171 fours and has taken 77 catches.
Pollard’s son Kaiden recently joined him during the net sessions of Mumbai Indians on the eve of their match against Kings XI Punjab. Mumbai Indians posted a loving photo of Pollard with his son on their official Twitter account with caption, “Polly’s biggest fan will be present at the Wankhede tonight 💙 #OneFamily #CricketMeriJaan #MumbaiIndians #MIvKXIP @KieronPollard55”
